HostBridge Technology Achieves Record Revenue in 2007

Growing Customer Base Funds New Growth

STILLWATER, OK—HostBridge® Technology, the leading provider of mainframe-based software that allows companies to integrate mainframe CICS® applications with any type of distributed application, achieved a 28% sales increase in 2007 resulting in the highest annual revenues in company history. The company experienced an increase in revenues through both product sales and services to new customers such as Northrop Grumman Corporation, State of Arizona, Pacific Blue Cross, and Los Angeles Department of Water and Power.

“We are thrilled with the results from 2007,” says Russ Teubner, CEO. “Not only in terms of numbers, but our portfolio of top-tier customers continued to grow. The trust they put in us to handle their CICS integration projects is affirming and gratifying. We take that very seriously.”

In 2007, HostBridge Technology became an IBM® Advanced Industry-Optimized business partner and was accepted into the IBM SOA Specialty program. In addition, IBM and HostBridge Technology collaborated to allow HostBridge and IBM Rational® Developer for System z™ to work together, creating a complete integration solution for CICS. HostBridge Technology also strengthened its partnership with CA™ (now CA Smart Certified for CA Ideal™, CA Telon®, CA ADS™, and CA Gener/OL™), entered into the Oracle® Modernization Alliance, and developed the Pega® Connector for CICS with Pegasystems, Inc. These partnerships, in addition to the collaboration with IBM, make HostBridge Technology well-positioned for continued growth in 2008 and beyond.

Founded in 2000, HostBridge Technology has established a reputation within the CICS community as the company that can solve the hardest integration problems on-time and on-budget, even after competing solutions fail. The HostBridge software provides immediate access to CICS resources as XML documents or web services.  Because it runs within CICS, the high-performance engine benefits from the proven reliability and availability of the mainframe. Being mainframe resident also places HostBridge in close proximity to the legacy applications to create high-fidelity integration architectures. This approach enables the legacy applications to remain unchanged and avoids the inherent inefficiency of screen scraping.
